It keeps growing in popularity. The story is about the lives of the Bakugan and the battle brawlers who wield them. When your kids ask about playing Bakugan you can be certain that they are asking for a very popular game, one that allows them to interact with each other without electronics that are pervasive today. Kids already know right? The first step in getting started with Bakugan is the purchase of a Bakugan starter pack. This consists of metal trading cards and spring loaded miniature action figures. The pack provides 6 Bakugan, 8 magnetic gate cards and instructions for playing the game. The best deal is to get the starter pack since buying each Bakugan individually would cost a lot more.</p> <p>As kids play the game they will eventually decide what their favorite color will be. The starter pack includes Bakugan that are represented by attribute by their various colors. The Earth is represented by Sub-Terra which is brown. Pyrus is red and represents fire. Aquos is blue and represents water, Ventus is green and represents air. Haos is white and represents light and last but not least, Darkus is black and represents the darkness.</p> <p>As your child continues to play they will eventually choose a favorite color which will result in discovering what their favorite Bakugan is. You will notice which color that your child is more likely to play with. That will allow you be more selective in future purchases of a Bakugan battle pack.</p> <p>Bakugan is a fantastic game for your kids to get involved with. The kids will utilize skills involving math and strategy. Kids may not want to admit they are learning some good skills rom palying a game but Bakugan will definitely encourage them to learn needed life skills. Better than sitting in front of a TV playing a video game. The story is about the lives of something called Bakugan and the battle brawlers who wield them. There were 51 episodes shown in Japan during its run on TV. In February 2008 the series was put on Cartoon Network. It has since been created into a Bakugan game by Sega consisting of metal trading cards and spring loaded miniature action figure. The object of the game is to capture three of your opponents gate cards or defeat all their Bakugan.<br /><br />Each player selects at least three Bakugan Brawlers and a deck of three cards. You can use more than three but each player has to have the same number of each. The Bakugan Battle Brawlers should all be closed. When the Brawler is rolled onto the metal card and hits at the right spot it pop open in Battle Mode. This will allow you to see its G-Power. If an opponents Brawler lands on the card that your Brawler is on, they go into battle. The Brawler with the higher G-power rating wins.<br /><br />The Bakugan cards enable you to have higher G-power. All the cards except the ability cards are metal. Each of the metal cards boost the G-power. During battle there may be a command on the bottom of the card which can effect the outcome. G-power boost is on the left side pf te card and is determined by the color of the Brawler that lands on the card. Additionally each card has a Holo Sector Point on the lower right of the card, which represents the number of points you win if you can capture that card.<br /><br />You determine your battle shooting spot, then each player takes turns shooting from their spot. You keep shooting as long as you have a Bakugan Brawler.<br /><br />The battle is over once there are no more Bakugan left to play or all the cards have been won from the battle.
